Ok so the worst thing ever happened to me this weekend! I was eating lunch and I always have my iPod touch 2nd Generation on me, this time I was just checking my texts and seeing if I had any messages on my yahoo IM, when I went to put it down on the opposing side of my hot bowl of Ramen noodles, it slipped out of my grip and fell right into the beef flavored water and to its death. ;-; But I dried it off with the littlest shimmer of hope that it would somehow return and come back on but it didn't. I asked my brother to help me and he told me to leave it on a vent and see if it came back in 2 hours. 2 hours after leaving it on the vent I checked it and it still was not working. However when I went to plug it into the wall charger I had, I heard a little chim noise and it was the noise my iPod makes when it is going on charge. I looked over at my iPod and it sure enough had life again.
The first thing that came to my mind was the scene in Transformers 2 where the Constructicons and Scalpel went to the bottom of the Laurentian (i think thats how you spell it) Abyss to re-activate Megatron and bring him back online. In my situation it was like the charger cord was little Scalpel and the charger end of the cord was the AllSpark fragment. It gave my iPod life again! My thought was, "Megatron's in my iPod! MEGATRON'S IN MY IPOD!!" but then I figured since it did the same thing a legend did, why not re-name my iPod Megatron? So now my iPod's official name is Megatron and it shall forever remain Megatron.
