Description

Here is my most recent art project. A blue morpho butterfly colored realistically. Our assignment was to find a specific art movement and make a presentation over it and then make an art piece depicting that movement. Well I chose the Realism movement and decided to draw a blue morpho butterfly for my picture ^^ I'm rather impressed with it!

When I saw this picture I immediately thought of California Blue (a book by David Klass). It's a very good book and this is a wonderful drawing of a Blue Morpho. I adore butterflies.
I love all the detail work you put into the face and wings. Very lovely shading.
